【 시 편 18：1∼50 】 ─ 악장에게, 주의 종 다윗의 시, 주께서 다윗을 그의 모든 원수들의 손과 사울의 손에서 구해 내신 날에, 그가 이 노랫말로 주께 고하여 말씀드리기를, ─ 1 오 나의 힘이신 주여, 내가 주를 사랑하리이다. 2 주는 나의 반석이시요 나의 요새시며 나의 구원자시라, 나의 하나님이시며 내가 신뢰할 나의 힘이시요, 나의 방패시며 나의 구원의 뿔이시며 나의 높은 망대시니이다. 3 내가 찬양을 받으시기에 합당하신 주를 부르리니, 그리하여 내가 내 원수들로부터 구원을 받으리라. 4 죽음의 슬픔이 나를 에워싸고 경건치 아니한 자들의 홍수가 나를 무섭게 하였도다. 5 지옥의 슬픔이 나를 에워쌌으며 죽음의 덫이 나를 막았도다. 6 내가 고통 중에 주를 부르고 내 하나님께 부르짖었더니 그가 그의 성전에서 내 음성을 들으셨으며 나의 부르짖음이 그의 앞에 이르러 그의 귀에 들렸도다. 7 그때 땅이 진동하고 떨렸으며 산의 기초들도 요동하고 흔들렸으니 이는 그가 진노하셨음이라. 8 그의 콧구멍에서 연기가 솟아오르고 그의 입에서는 불이 나와 삼켰으니 그로 인해 숯이 피었도다. 9 그가 또 하늘들을 기울이사 내려오시니 그의 발 아래에는 어둠이 있었도다. 10 그가 그룹을 타고 나셨으니 정녕, 그가 바람의 날개를 타고 나셨도다. 11 그가 어둠으로 그의 비밀 처소를 만드셨으니 그를 두른 그의 장막은 검은 물들과 하늘의 짙은 구름이었도다. 12 그의 앞에 있는 광채에서 그의 짙은 구름이 지나가니 우박과 숯불덩이가 내렸도다. 13 주께서 또한 하늘들에서 천둥을 발하셨고 가장 높으신 분이 음성을 내셨으니 우박과 숯불덩이가 내렸도다. 14 정녕, 그가 그의 화살들을 쏘아서 그들을 흩으셨으며 번개들을 쏘아서 그들을 패주시키셨도다. 15 그때에 오 주여, 주의 책망과 내쉬는 콧김에 물들의 통로들이 보였고 세상의 기초들이 드러났나이다. 16 그가 위에서 보내시어 나를 취하시고 많은 물들에서 나를 건져 내셨도다. 17 그가 나의 강한 원수와 나를 미워하는 자들에게서 나를 구해 주셨으니 이는 그들이 내게 너무 강하였음이라. 18 그들이 나의 재앙의 날에 나를 막았으나 주께서는 나의 의지가 되셨도다. 19 그가 또 나를 넓은 곳으로 데리고 나오시고 나를 구하셨으니 이는 그가 나를 기뻐하셨음이라. 20 주께서 나의  의를 따라 내게 상 주시고, 내 손의 정결함을 따라 내게 갚으셨으니 21 이는 내가 주의 길을 지켰고, 내 하나님께로부터 악하게 떠나지 아니하였음이며 22 그의 모든 명령들이 내 앞에 있었고, 내게서 그의 규례들을 치워 버리지 않았음이라. 23 내가 또 그의 앞에서 정직하였고 내 죄악으로부터 나를 지켰나니 24 그러므로 주께서 내 의를 따라 그의 목전에서 내 손의 정결함을 따라 내게 갚으셨도다. 25 주께서 자비로운 자에게는 주의 자비하심을 보이시고 정직한 자에게는 주의 정직하심을 보이실 것이요, 26 순결한 자에게는 주의 순결함을 보이시고 완고한 자에게는 주의 완고하심을 보이시리니 27 이는 주께서 고난받는 백성들은 구원하시나 교만한 눈은 낮추실 것임이니이다. 28 이는 주께서 나의 촛불을 켜시고, 주 나의 하나님께서 내 어두움을 밝히실 것임이니이다. 29 이는 내가 주를 의지하고 군대 속을 통과해 달렸으며 내 하나님을 의지하고 성벽을 뛰어넘었음이니이다. 30 하나님으로 말하면 그의 길은 완전하고 주의 말씀은 단련되었으며 그는 자기를 의뢰하는 모든 자들에게 방패가 되시는도다. 31 주 외에 누가 하나님이시리요? 우리 하나님 외에 누가 반석이시리요? 32 힘으로 내게 띠를 두르시며 나의 길을 온전케 하시는 분은 하나님이시라. 33 그가 나의 발을 암사슴들의 발 같게 하시며 나를 나의 높은 곳에 세우시는도다. 34 그가 내 손을 가르치시어 전쟁에 임하게 하시니 내 팔이 철 활을 부러뜨리는도다. 35 주께서 또 나에게 주의 구원의 방패를 주셨으며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙들어 주셨고 주의 겸손하심이 나를 크게 하셨나이다. 36 주께서 내 아래 내 걸음을 넓히셨으므로 내 발이 미끄러지지 아니하였나이다. 37 내가 내 원수들을 추격하여 그들을 따라 잡았으며 그들이 진멸되기까지는 내가 돌아오지 아니하였나이다. 38 내가 그들에게 상처를 입혀 그들이 일어날 수 없었으니 그들이 내 발 아래 쓰러졌나이다. 39 이는 주께서 힘으로 나를 두르시어 싸우게 하셨으며 주께서 나를 대적하여 일어난 자들을 내 아래 굴복시키셨음이니이다. 40 주께서 또 내 원수들의 목을 내게 주시어 나로 하여금 나를 미워하는 자들을 멸망시키게 하셨나이다. 41 그들이 부르짖었으나 구원해 줄 자가 아무도 없었고 심지어 주께 부르짖어도 그가 그들에게 응답하지 아니하셨도다. 42 그때 내가 그들을 쳐서 바람 앞의 먼지처럼 잘게 부서뜨렸으니 내가 그들을 거리의 흙처럼 던져 버렸나이다. 43 주께서 나를 백성의 다툼에서 구해 주셨고 주께서 나를 이방의 머리로 삼으셨으니 내가 알지 못하던 백성이 나를 섬기리이다. 44 그들이 나에 관하여 듣자마자 내게 순종할 것이요, 타국인들이 내게 복종할 것이며, 45 타국인들이 쇠잔해져서 그 숨은 곳에서 무서워하며 나오리라. 46 주께서 살아 계시니 내 반석을 송축하라. 내 구원의 하나님을 높일지라. 47 내 원수를 갚아 주시고 백성을 내 아래 복종케 하시는 분은 하나님이시라. 48 그가 나를 내 원수들로부터 구하시나니 정녕, 주께서 나를 대적하여 일어선 자들 위에 나를 높이 들어올리셨으며 주께서 난폭한 자로부터 나를 구해 내셨나이다. 49 그러므로 오 주여, 내가 이방 가운데 주께 감사드리며 주의 이름을 찬송하리이다. 50 그가 그의 왕에게 큰 구원을 주시며 그의 기름부음 받은 이와 다윗과 그의 씨에게 영원토록 자비를 베푸시는도다. 【 PSALMS 18：1∼50 】 ─ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, ─ 1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. 4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. 5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. 6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. 7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. 8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. 10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. 11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. 12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. 13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. 14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. 15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. 16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. 17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. 18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. 19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. 21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. 22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. 23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. 24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. 25 With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt show thyself upright; 26 With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt show thyself froward. 27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. 28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. 29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. 30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. 31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? 32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. 33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. 34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. 36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. 37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. 38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. 39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. 40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. 41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. 42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. 43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. 44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. 45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. 46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. 47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. 48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. 49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. 50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. ────── [THE BOOK OF PSALMS] ─────────── ─────────────────────────────    피터 S. 럭크만／『시 편 주석서ː제18편』... ───────────────────────────── THE  BIBLE  BELIEVER'S  COMMENTARY THE BOOK OF PSALMS by Peter S.
