『 그러나 자랑하는 자는 이것을 자랑할지니 그가 깨달아 나를 알아서 내가 이 땅에서 자애와 공의와 의를 행사하는 주임을 아는 것이라. 이는 내가 이 일들을 기뻐함이라. 주가 말하노라. 』(예레미야 9：24) 【 시 편 111：1∼10 】 1 너희는 주를 찬양하라. 정직한 자들의 모임과 회중 가운데서 내가 전심으로 주를 찬양하리로다. 2 주의 역사들은 위대하니 그것들을 즐거워하는 모든 사람들이 찾는도다. 3 그의 역사는 존귀하고 영광스러우며 그의 의가 영원히 지속되는도다. 4 그가 그의 경이로운 일들로 기억되게 하셨으니 주께서는 은혜로우시고 긍휼이 충만하시도다. 5 그가 자기를 두려워하는 자들에게 음식을 주셨으니 그의 언약을 영원히 기억하시리라. 6 그가 그의 백성에게 자기 행사들의 권능을 보이셨으니 이는 그들에게 이방의 유업을 주려 하심이라. 7 그의 손의 행사들은 진실과 공의라, 그의 모든 계명들은 확실하도다. 8 그것들이 영원무궁토록 확고하니 진리와 강직함 가운데서 행해진 것이라. 9 그가 그의 백성에게 구속을 보내셨으며 그의 언약을 영원히 세우셨으니 그의 이름이 거룩하고 경외롭도다. 10 주를 두려워함이 지혜의 시작이라. 그의 계명들을 지키는 모든 자들은 좋은 지각을 가졌나니 그를 찬양함이 영원히 지속되는도다. 【 시 편 111：1∼10 】 1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. 2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. 3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. 4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. 5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. 6 He hath showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. 7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. 8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. 9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
