『 12 그러나 누구든지 그를 영접한 사람들에게는 하나님의 아들들이 되는 권세를 주셨으니, 즉 그의 이름을 믿는 사람들에게니라. 13 그들은 혈로나 육신의 뜻으로나 또한 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하였고 하나님에게서 난 사람들이라. 14 그 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시므로, (우리가 그의 영광을 보니, 아버지의 독생자의 영광으로) 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라. 15 ○ 요한이 그에 관하여 증거하며 외쳐 말하기를 “이분이 내가 말한 그분이라. 내 뒤에 오시는 그가 나보다 앞선 것은 그분이 나보다 먼저 계셨음이라.”고 하더라. 16 우리 모두가 그의 충만한 데서 받았으니 은혜 위에 은혜니라. 17 율법은 모세를 통하여 받았지만 은혜와 진리는 예수 그리스도를 통하여 온 것이라. 18 아무도 어느 때나 하나님을 본 사람이 없지만 아버지의 품 안에 계신 독생자, 그가 하나님을 분명히 밝히셨느니라. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 ○ John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. 』 (요한복음 1：12∼18) 『 ─ 아삽의 시. ─   1 ○ 능하신 하나님, 곧 주께서 말씀하셨고 해 뜨는 데부터 해 지는 데까지 땅을 부르셨도다. 2 완전한 아름다움인 시온에서 하나님께서 빛을 발하셨도다. 3 우리 하나님이 오셔서 잠잠하지 아니하시리니 그의 앞에는 불이 삼키고, 그의 주위에는 광풍이 불리로다. 4 그가 위로부터 하늘들과 땅에까지 부르시리니 이는 그가 자기 백성을 판단하시려는 것이라. 5 내 성도들을 내게로 다 모으라. 그들은 희생제로 나와 언약을 맺은 자들이라. 6 하늘들이 그의 의를 선포하리니 하나님 그가 재판장이심이라. 셀라. 7 ○ 오 내 백성아, 들을지어다. 내가 말하리라. 오 이스라엘아, 내가 너에게 증거하리라. 나는 하나님, 곧 너의 하나님이라. 8 내가 계속해서 내 앞에 드려진 네 희생제나 네 번제로 내가 너를 책망하지 않으리라. 9 내가 네 집에서 수소나 네 우리에서 숫염소들도 가져가지 아니하리니 10 이는 숲의 모든 짐승이 내 것이요, 일천 산 위의 가축들도 내 것임이라. 11 내가 산의 모든 새들을 알며 들의 짐승들도 내 것이라. 12 내가 설령 굶주릴지라도 네게 말하지 않으리니 이는 세상과 거기 충만한 것이 내 것이기 때문이라. 13 내가 수소의 고기를 먹으며 숫염소의 피를 마시겠느냐? 14 하나님께 감사의 제사를 드리며 지극히 높으신 분께 네 서원들을 갚고, 15 고난의 날에 나를 부르라. 내가 너를 구해 낼 것이요, 너는 나를 영화롭게 하리라. 16 ○ 그러나 악인에게는 하나님이 말하노라. 네가 내 규례들을 선포하기 위하여 또 내 언약을 네 입에 두기 위하여 네가 무엇을 행해야 하느냐? 17 네가 교훈을 싫어하고 내 말을 네 뒤에 던지는도다. 18 네가 도둑을 보면 그와 동조하고 간음하는 자들과 한패가 되며 19 네 입을 악에게 주고 네 혀는 속임수를 발하는도다. 20 네가 앉아서 네 형제를 공박하며 네 어미의 아들을 비방하는도다. 21 네가 이런 일들을 행하여도 내가 잠잠하였더니 네가 나를 전적으로 너와 같은 자인 줄로 생각하였도다. 그러나 내가 너를 책망하겠고 그것들을 네 눈 앞에 정연하게 두리라. 22 하나님을 잊어버린 너희여, 이것을 생각하라. 그렇지 아니하면 내가 너희를 잘게 찢으리니 아무도 구해 낼 자가 없으리라. 23 누구든지 찬양을 드리는 자는 나를 영화롭게 하나니 그 행위를 바르게 하는 자에게 내가 하나님의 구원을 보이리라. ─ A Psalm of Asaph. ─   1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. 5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. 8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. 9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. 18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. 19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. 20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. 21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. 22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. 23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. 』 (시 편 50：1∼23)
